RSVP for Lobby Day on March 14

Tennessee's General Assembly is back in session, and along with it, attacks on education and working families. We must say NO to divisive concepts laws, book bans, and anti-LGBTQ policies. We need to say YES to fair wages, academic freedom, full-staffing, and adequate funding. Join your fellow UCW members at our annual Lobby Day on March 14th:

LOBBY DAY: March 14, Nashville

Join union members from across Tennessee to advocate for campus workers' issues in Nashville: fair pay and funding, paid family & sick leave, the freedom to teach without censorship, and more. We will gather at the state capitol to speak directly with our representatives and rally for change with our Tennessee For All partners!

Breakfast and lunch will be provided, and carpools/buses will be organized from those coming from outside Nashville. All members are encouraged to participate, even (and especially) if you've never come to Lobby Day before! Contact fairness@ucw-cwa.org with questions.

Before Lobby Day, we will hold a Lobbying Training on Zoom on Thursday, March 2 at 6 pm central/7 pm eastern to go over details for the day, how to speak with legislators, and practice talking points. By RSVPing for Lobby Day, you will receive the invitation to this training.
